Jazzin on Ridge

The Sharswood community in North Philadelphia boasts a rich legacy of music and cultural achievement.  In 2020, during the height of the pandemic, Robbie Ridgeway, owner of Process Junior’s Barber Shop, and his wife launched the Jazzin' On Ridge Street Festival featuring Kimpedro Rodriguez, an illustrator, author, and drummer. 

 Over the last six years, Jazzin on Ridge and the Lower North Philadelphia CDC have become community staples. The event showcases that the Ridge Ave Business District is on the rise, revitalizing one of Philadelphia’s strongest main streets.
